American inheritance laws are different from the Islamic law. The only way to assure that one's estate will be distributed according to the Islamic jurisprudence is to leave a will. The Islamic Institute of Minnesota provides the service of administering Islamic wills and inheritance to fulfill the religious and legal requirements. The Institute provides all the necessary assistance in warranting the distribution of the estate and channeling into the hands of rightful heirs and/or other lawful and charitable causes ensuring that all documented agreements are legally accepted in American courts. Complete confidentiality is stressed in these matters. Furthermore, individual wills can be securely kept in the Institute's safe until time they are needed.
